We have 22 years of experience designing systems to protect the environment and we know how equipment from very diverse manufacturers works. This enables us to offer very diverse equipment maintenance and repair services, as well as performance audits of new or existing plants.
Maintenance
We carry out preventive maintenance of existing facilities. Maintenance work consists of verifying the condition and operation of the main components and the equipment as a whole. Finally, a report is prepared with the results of the work and with possible improvement actions. It is recommended to carry out maintenance on the equipment at least once a year.
These verification works usually include:
- Condition inside the equipment
- Burners
- Valves
- Efficacy of internal isulation by taking thermographic images of the external surfaces
- Operating parameters
- Gas cleaning efficiency
- Heat recovery efficiency
Performance audits
Sometimes, whether for a new or existing plant, you want to have a specialized opinion, different from that of the manufacturer, regarding the operation of such equipment. For these cases, we offer a performance audit where we verify the complete operation of the equipment and components and compliance with the manufacturer’s guarantees regarding heat recovery efficiency, energy consumption, emission of pollutants, etc.
LFL Sensor Calibration (LEL)
To ensure the safety of facilities where mixtures of solvents with air that can become explosive are generated, Lower Flammable Limit (LFL) sensors are installed (previously called Lower Explosion Limit or LEL). When the sensor detects that the mixture is approaching the LFL, it activates some kind of alarm that prevents an explosion occurs.
These sensors need to be checked and calibrated periodically (usually every 6 months), because the safety of the installation depends on their proper operation. We review and calibrate these sensors so that safety is guaranteed at all times.
